Week 5...here we go!
A new Weeks 5 and 6 Distance Learning Slide Deck can be found on our 'Learning At Home' page above. Today's video highlights the key activities you may like to engage with. Have fun - plan your week to try and cover at least one activity from each of the Learning Areas.
Your regular learning sites also have work in them to engage with:
Check out the new reading assignments in ReadWorks: A paired set of texts (one of each opinion), an article 'A Good Night' and a narrative fiction piece 'The Magic Glasses'. Use your Book of Knowledge to post three bullet points of your main ideas in your own words (summarising and paraphrasing).
There are a number of assignments in Mathletics, too. If you haven't been doing those - please make sure you do. They will be a great place to start when we get back. They are levelled and some may be harder than others, as you use this as a review. Please reach out for help if you need help.

Sharing of Learning from May 8th...
Hi Room 15. I hope you are enjoying your Distance Learning as much as I am enjoying reading about what you are all doing. Keep up that super reading and creative art work!
ReplyDeleteMilana, I really enjoyed reading your research about polar bears. I now know the collective noun for a group of polar bears - sleuth! Maybe they can sneak up on you in the snow and ice without you seeing them....?
Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.
